Australian riders are set for a busy weekend of international competition, with eyes on both show jumping and eventing action in the United States.

Equestrian Australia has confirmed the combinations set to represent the nation at the Oceania Championships, to be held during the Adelaide Equestrian Festival from 16-19 April.

The Olympic duo of Andrew Hoy and Vassily de Lassos have enjoyed a strong start to the European spring eventing season, finishing on their dressage score at the Grandorse Eventing International in Kronenberg, Netherlands (19–22 March).

The in-form combination of Sam Jeffree and Santoro claimed the headline CCI4*S class among many impressive results at Wandin Park.

The eventing season is in full swing with many states hosting CCIs – and Western Australia is no exception. The Capel Pony Club CCI featured classes ranging from Ev50 to CCI4*S, with off-the-track Thoroughbreds (OTTs) sweeping the top spots in all three international classes.

Shane Rose was in formidable form aboard the fabulous Holey Moses at the 2026 Canberra International Horse Trials, where the duo claimed the Asset Construction Hire CCI4*S.

Despite the competition venue suffering catastrophic damage and destruction following a ferocious deluge and epic flood, an amazing six-week turnaround will see Canberra International Horse Trials go ahead this weekend.
